The Beginning
The inspiration for gabbi's Pet Boutique came from a little 3 pound Morkie named "gabbi".
gabbi was 12 weeks old when she entered my life. She was so small it was hard for her to stay warm, so I began sewing clothes for her. I had also committed to providing gabbi with the best nutrition and care she possibly could receive. I began researching every aspect of pet ownership and became fascinated with the importance of an ancestral-based diet and natural alternatives. I felt compelled and excited to share that knowledge with every pet-parent. I decided the best way to do that was to open a store front.
gabbi's Pet Boutique opened in September 2007 and has continued to grow and prosper. Our original store was located in downtown Henderson for 7 years. Continuing to grow, we moved to our current location on Green Street. I have made many friends over these years (human and furry) and it is rewarding seeing all the pets of gabbi's store happy, healthy, and thriving.
Our precious gabbi crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2020. I was so fortunate to have had the opportunity to love her as she was truly the most unique creature I have ever encountered, and an empty space will forever remain in my heart. We hope to be here many more years and look forward to every opportunity to share our knowledge and products with other pet-parents.
